The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Integrated Fundraising & Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, donor engagement, brand strength, and integrated marketing performance.
You will lead and evolve a multi-channel fundraising program including:
- Direct Mail
- Direct Response TV
- Digital (website, email, social media, SMS)
- Outbound Telemarketing
- Public Relations
- Mid-level donor integration across channels
This is a high-impact role overseeing strategy, execution, analytics, vendor management, and team leadership — with direct influence on revenue targets and organizational growth.
You will manage a team including:
- Integrated Fundraising Manager
- Marketing Specialist
- Full Stack Developer
You will also work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropy, and Director of Finance, and collaborate with global peers in Israel and the United States.

Key Responsibilities
Integrated Fundraising
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel fundraising strategies (including Direct Mail, Television, Digital (website, email, social media etc) and Telemarketing)
- Lead annual planning and provide monthly/quarterly channel performance reporting
- Conduct market research and testing to refine acquisition and retention strategies
- Manage agency and vendor relationships
- Maintain expertise in Canadian non-profit trends and direct response best practices
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Align fundraising and marketing strategy with IFCJ Canada’s strategic plan
- Establish and manage mass fundraising revenue targets
- Budget development and management for the department; engagement with various related stakeholders
- Set benchmarks and KPIs based on industry standards and trends
- Provide regular progress reports, trend analysis, and identify opportunities for new strategies to the Executive Director.
- Drive campaign optimization and continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team
Donor Engagement and Communication
- Develop prospect management strategies to identify new opportunities
- Oversee CRM strategy and donor contact planning
- Ensure consistent and meaningful donor experiences
- Work with external vendors, ensure alignment and expectations are met and understood
- Expertise in leading rapid-response campaigns for emergency response
Marketing & Brand
- Define and elevate IFCJ Canada’s brand positioning
- Lead content and communications strategy across platforms
- Oversee agency marketing campaigns and brand execution across all channels
- Ensure brand consistency and compelling storytelling
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure consistent reporting across tools and platforms and channels
- Optimize existing fundraising and marketing technology platforms to maximize performance, efficiency, and results
- Strong expertise in process management and documentation
- Ensure compliance with CRA regulations related to donor management and receipting
- Manage relationships with suppliers, resources, and consultant relationships, including budgeting and expenditure oversight
What You Bring
- Demonstrated progressive success in various aspects of marketing and direct response fundraising, with a proven track record of achieving measurable results
- University degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success in direct response fundraising and donor acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to secure six-figure gifts
- Strong expertise in direct response marketing techniques, process and data compliance, and emergency fundraising
- Experience in strategy setting, budgeting, implementation, and continuous development of marketing and fundraising strategies
- Experience in faith-based or religious organizations preferred
- Strong understanding of Jewish and evangelical communities across Canada
- Expertise in CRM systems and donor databases (Raiser’s Edge an asset)
- Analytical strength with demonstrated ROI optimization
- Exceptional communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and Passport

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
The office is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario at the intersection of Adelaide and York Street. Work performed in a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three (3) in-office days per week. May require extended hours during peak periods and non-traditional hours to perform job duties. May require participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.
